THIS NEW CAR WAS LYING UNDERGROUND 50 YEARS
Interesting stuff. The vault they encased this time capsule car in was built to withstand nuclear destruction - but not water...
Imagine winning a free, all original, 1957 Plymouth Belvedere classic car with only 4 miles on the odometer that is interwoven with the local culture and heritage. Sounds amazing right? Ok here's the catch, the car doesn't run, is held together only by rust and mud, and has spent the last 50 years buried in a waterlogged concrete vault. Who put it there and why? Let's find out.

We Sent Garlic Bread to the Edge of Space, Then Ate It
Did it taste out of this world? ;) Probably not. They should try sending other foods up to see how they react...
The title says it all, really. Thanks to Barry from My Virgin Kitchen - go see him cook and test three different garlic breads here: https://youtu.be/jYPYbIO9BLE - and to Steve from Random Aerospace, http://www.randomengineering.co.uk/Ra... ! Pull down the description for more details.
This started as a conversation in a pub a few weeks ago, and turned into one of the more ridiculous videos I've ever done. We send home-made garlic bread skyward on a balloon; exposed it to the stratosphere, 35km up; successfully returned it to earth in a protective box; and then ate it. It tasted... cold.

A Bowl Of Peanut Oil Catches 7 Mice In 1 Night - Motion Camera Footage
Wow!... but we thought they were smart? Why did they all follow suit after seeing the first one get trapped? Also, this is great and all but what do you do with the 'live' critters after? We can't even touch a dead one never mind a bunch of live ones. Great video! It has been viewed over 2M times in just a few days...

Why Alien Life Would be our Doom - The Great Filter
Finding alien life on a distant planet would be amazing news - or would it? If we are not the only intelligent life in the universe, this probably means our days are numbered and doom is certain.
