Burger King | Whopper Neutrality
We'll just file this one under 'creative advertising'...
The repeal of Net Neutrality is a hot topic in America, but it can be very difficult to understand. That’s why the BURGER KING® brand created WHOPPER® Neutrality, a social experiment that explains the effects of the repeal of Net Neutrality by putting it in terms anyone can understand: A WHOPPER® sandwich.
This effort aims to help people understand how the repeal of Net Neutrality will impact their lives.
The BURGER KING® brand believes the Internet should be like the WHOPPER® sandwich: the same for everyone.

Ford Has Created A Trucker Hat To Wake Sleepy Drivers
Good for Ford! But you won't be needing these hats for those driverless trucks...
This cap could save a truck driver's life. SafeCap is designed to keep you awake and it was developed by Ford and Sao Paulo-based creative agency GTB. They're conducting research to tell the difference between attentive and non-attentive driving. The hat uses sensors and a gyroscope to sense head movements. If a driver starts dozing off, it'll wake them up with sound, light, and vibration. It's estimated that 250,000 Americans fall asleep while driving each day. Ford is interested in making the hat widely available, but first it'll need to undergo some additional testing.

ARCADE SCAM SCIENCE (not clickbait) + (CARNIVAL SCAM SCIENCE- and how to win)
He built a machine to win an arcade game every time but in doing so he accidently discovered that this arcade game is totally rigged...
Don't feel bad. You don't suck, the game makers do.
Mark Rober
I collected data at the carnival for a full day. Then I used that information to figure out which games are the biggest scams using science to analyze them and show you how to beat them. I also figured out how much the carnival actually pays for the prizes so even if you win, you lose. And then I visited the carnival with my professional baseball playing buddy to dominate all the games. It worked well.

New Year's Eve Penske Peel at the 11foot8 bridge
We're just loving how the uploader managed to capture the incident so superbly! Wait for it...
On New Year's Eve 2017, the bridge got another holiday feast, peeling the top off another Penske rental truck. The driver left the scene of the accident after a few Minutes and left the busted truck sitting there in the middle of a busy city road without hazard lights on or any attempt at securing the accident. Later, the Police had to extract the truck from under the bridge. Not sure what the deal was with that.

“Acne Doesn’t Make You Ugly" | SHAKE MY BEAUTY
She's beautiful! Good for her. Inspiring!...
A teenage girl uses social media to fight the stigma of acne by showing off her pimples rather than covering them up with heavy make-up. Since the age of 11, Hailey Wait, from Buena Vista, Colorado has been dealing with cystic acne – a skin condition that occurs when hair follicles become clogged underneath the skin leaving behind painful bumps. The 17-year-old decided she didn’t need to say sorry for how she looked and wanted to fight back by helping other young people struggling with their skin by posing pictures barefaced to “take one for the team.”

Energy saving auto dimming street lights
Cool! A five-mile stretch of road near Hole - just outside Oslo, Norway - uses hundreds of radars to detect cars, bikes and pedestrians...
Bjørn Nyland
Source(s): cetusnews
At highway 155 in Nes i Hole, 220 radars have been installed on each light pole. They detect oncoming traffic and adjust the strength of the light. By doing this, the 9 km/5.5 mi stretch saves a whopping 2100 kWh per week. The extra investment will break even after just 4.5 years.

How an AK-47 Works
Fascinating! Even for those who have never fired a gun... ever! Fantastic animation explaining how a gun works...
Matt Rittman
A 3D animation created in Cinema 4D and After Effects showing how an AK-47 rifle works. Corona renderer was used in order to create realistic materials and reflections.
*Correction: The firing pin does NOT puncture the bullet primer. It just strikes it against the anvil, initiating the firing sequence.
